Padauk Wood Beater

Padauk is one of the most visually striking tonewoods in percussion — and it hits as good as it looks.

Milled from dense, close-grained African padauk, this beater delivers a focused, punchy attack with a warm low-end presence that cuts through the mix without harshness. The natural density of the wood translates directly to feel: firm, responsive, and consistent stroke after stroke.

Each beater is shaped and finished by hand, so the deep reddish-orange grain is entirely its own — no two are identical.
